My husband surprised me today with a fantastic original painting. I love it. But I almost cried when I opened it and found it had taken a beating in the mail.

Close-up please

There were other dings and nicks and cracks, but this was the worst of it.
Don't you just love that painting? How sad is that?

I do love it! It really is badly damaged. Let me know what the artist says.
It was slipped into a large version of a cardboard mailer. If that is how they ship all the paintings I can't imagine any of them making it to their destinations unscathed. I think we can ship it back and they will refund our money. But it stinks because I don't want the money, I want the painting.
