That's right-- today is my ten year anniversary, and from the looks of this picture I got married when I was 17. As a special anniversary present from the public school system my kids don't have school today. I decided to take this opportunity to sleep in until 8:15 when I heard my children say these two things--
Kai: "WOW! Look how many coco puffs I have! I think I need more!"
Chase: "I smell something STINKY!"
You'll be relieved to know that Kai hadn't filled his bowl with half a bag of coco puffs and no one was stinky. Apparently it just a ploy to get my lazy butt out of bed.

CA- Listen little miss teenage bride, I never said there was anything wrong with getting married at 17! Especially when that 17 year old is as mature as I'm sure you were!
Oh and I think smelling something stinky is what motherhood is all about.
I can't believe it's been that long. Sheesh.
Aw, congrats. And isn't it better to look 17 than be 17? At least it was for me when I was 17.

Congrats! You two are so much fun. What a cute picture of you guys! Was that the official engagement photo? I still need to ask you two the "How did you meet?" question. It is always so much fun to hear. Or maybe you should write a blog about it. It would be very appropriate. :)

Hey, chick, you didn't even mention it was your anniversary on the phone today. You're in trouble now! What an awesome picture of you two. And Kristin, I may not know the story of how they met, as such, but Matthew and I knew they were going to get married before they did. We even bought their wedding present before they were engaged. Lis was so obviously the favored one in the harem. Congratulations!
You deserve the extra 15 minutes of sleep--hope you enjoyed it! Congrats you guys. You are a great pair!
